Welcome to my corner of the world wide web

Hellu! 👋 I’m a Crafter & Coder trying to move away from the fast-paced, algorithm-driven part of the internet, which is run by billionaires who don’t care.

I live in the forests of Värmland with my lovely partner and two cute cats, finding joy in the more quiet pace of life.

This is my space to share thoughts and creations on my own terms. You’ll find a mix of tech insights, cozy crafting projects, baking, photos and reflections from my life – all shared in a slightly more structured way, far from the noise of other platforms.

I’m glad you found your way here, enjoy! 🌿

Responsible Use of AI LLMs in My Writing Workflow

I just wanted to mention an issue about writing and LLMs before it actually becomes one.

I use Kagi Translate during the proofreading process, which uses an LLM for improved grammar, spell checking, idioms, and similar tasks. It also explains why it suggests changes. After all, English is my second language, which is why I put extra effort into writing my texts myself rather than relying on LLMs. I only turn to Kagi Translate when I feel confident that I can’t improve the text further on my own.

I do use LLMs for research or to rephrase sentences if I struggle with understanding. Once in a while, I use LLMs to help formulate sentences to ensure they are correct. But again, I try my best first.
